Understand both holding tanks
The gray tank collects sink and shower water; the black tank collects toilet waste on conventional systems. Your specific rig may differ. Learn the controls, capacities, and monitor before the trip. A full gray tank can end a stay even when the fresh tank has water left.
Keep the sanitation kit separate
Pack a compatible sewer hose, required fittings, secure storage, and appropriate gloves. Follow the facility’s instructions and your manufacturer’s procedure. Never use a drinking-water hose for rinsing sanitation equipment.
Local disposal rules matter
